Some of the FAQ's we keep getting asked
Do you take Insurance?
At this time we do NOT, many Insurance companies only allow limited visits to be paid for, Medicare does not cover Acupuncture whereas supplemental insurance under Medicare does to a certain degree. For a small clinic like ours this needs a lot of work and more staff just to handle insurance billing. We therefore provide a super bill to the patient that can be submitted for reimbursement to the relative Insurance company
How long is the initial consultation?
We combine the initial consultation and evaluation together with the first treatment this can be 90 to 120 minutes altogether.
How often should I come?
For the first few treatments it is recommended to come 2 times per week, after 6 visits this can go to 1 time per week. This does always depend upon the condition.
